I've been itching for some new movies to get into, and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. I'm looking for anything that kind of falls along the lines of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind/The Science of Sleep, OR a really deep thinking movie like Waking Life. Any ideas?

Since you mentioned Waking Life I'd suggest A Scanner Darkly. Kinda trippy, good movie. Done by the same director as Waking Life

Why not check out some Coen Brothers movies? Based on what you're looking for, skip Raising Arizona (which is good, but silly), The Ladykillers (bad), and Intolerable Cruelty (bad). Everything else falls into the "more than just a story, makes you think" category, and there's a good range of films there.

One movie I saw recently and liked although it got very middle of the road reviews was Cashback.

Try out I Heart Huckabees. I watched it along with Waking Life in my philosophy class this year and I thought it was fairly enjoyable. Marky Mark's great in it too.

Stranger Than Fiction has a very good literary theme/off beatness. Don't be fooled by Will Ferrel's appearance, he puts through a very solid performance without being goofy.

I also recommend Lost in Translation, anything by Wes Anderson (particularly the Life Aquatic and the Royal Tenebaums), the Squid and the Whale, Being John Malkovich, and possibly Adaptation (after first watching Being John Malkovich). I hope some of these movies strike a similar off-beat weird goodness to you

Memento will make you sit there and go "wait...holy shit", forcing you to re-watch it over and over, picking up new things each time.

I thought Broken Flowers (w/ Bill Murray) was an interesting film. Children of Men was one of my favorite films that came out recently, great director and screenplay.
