This game looks totally awesome. How many plan on getting this game?
In this adventure game directed by Goichi Suda (of Killer 7 fame), you play as Travis Touchdown, a normal guy (with an otaku geek streak to him) who wins a Beam Katana through an online auction and uses the weapon to start a new career as a professional killer. One day, an assassin named Helter Skelter appears before Travis and the two face off in a battle. Travis emerges victorious and finds himself in the presence of Silvia Christel, a mysterious French woman who claims to be an agent with the UAA. Silvia gives Travis official rank of 11 in the organization. Now, it's up to you to become #1.
No More Heroes takes place in the city of Santa Destroy, and you are free to explore the town to your liking, taking on missions large and small to collect money and purchase new weapons as you work up towards the 10 main killing contracts. Gameplay is all about using your Beam Katana (via Wii remote) to defeat enemies.
There was a really good article with lots of info in nintendo power. So im gonna try some more info and images and everybody is welcome to add to it. I could use help.
It would be nice if they could decide on a US boxart since it didn't get an AO rating.
edit: The point I was making earlier is that the ESRB lets things slip under the radar that I sometimes wonder if they even play the games. Super Mario Strikers GC comes to mind.

Okay, what was in SM Strikers? You can't just mention shit and not explain. I'm fucking poor the last console game I bought and played was Persona 3.
Edit: also the ESRB don't play the games the publishers send them a video of the most offending content in the game.
This game is going to be so great that it has two threads!
On a slightly more serious note, the decidedly silly tone of the whole thing pretty much guarantees it will not get the Manhunt 2 treatment in britain.

Mario Strikers is by far the most provacative Mario game I've played. You really need to play it to understand that "mild violence" definitely was not the only thing this game had in it. The game had camel toe, crotch chopping, electric fence screams, etc. Let me find some videos...
I think it's commercial is better than the Segata Sanshiro soccer one.
edit: It seems like all the videos out there are for Charged. You have to remember this was before Nintendo ruined it by going all X-TREME. I'd have to ask pro666 at nintendoworldreport to record the most outrageous moments. I'd rather you give the game a rental to see for yourself though.
