Hey guys! Project Runway Season 4 just started a couple weeks ago, and it has inspired me to make a fashion-based phalla! Since this is my first time running one, I'm going to keep the mechanics simple, and the game small (only 15 people). This phalla will differ from most others I've seen so far in that it requires your fashion input! Each player will play the role of a designer. Every day, there will be a challenge, for which you must PM me a picture of your "design." These designs can come from anywhere: hand-drawn sketches, MS Paint, GIS; anything that you feel expresses your aesthetics as a designer! I will then post these designs in each evening's narration, and the players will vote on the winning and losing designs for the next day. The loser "dies," and the winner is immune from elimination due to other mechanics for that night. I don't want to give away too much. Just sign up if you love fashion!
Note: This is a repost of my earlier signup thread. Please make sure to sign up here if you're interested; I am not keeping any names from the last thread.
Well, I didn't want to exclude people who can't draw. Or those that don't have access to a tablet or scanner.
Hmm. Maybe instead, limit the GIS options to certain fashion websites? Or perhaps to pattern directories that change every round (ie McCall's Patterns during Round 1, then Simplicity's...), found easily here.

The key here is creativity and fashion sense, not artistic skill; and I want to make it easy for people to participate. Besides, keep in mind that all designs will be voted on by other players, and it's unlikely that some random picture of Jessica Simpson off GIS will win. If you feel a certain submission is lazy and cheap, most likely other people will too, and the lazy bum will be voted off. Also, the challenges will be more demanding than "Design a cute skirt," so it's not like people can all just go to J. Crew's website and copy a picture from there. Well I guess they could, but they'd lose.

Oooh, I skipped over the voting part. That makes my concern moot :^:
I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.
So yeah, the game will probably start Sunday night or Monday, with the first day ending Tuesday regardless. There will be no eliminations on the first day to give everyone a chance to strut their stuff.
We ought to be able to get one more. Don't worry about being embarrased people. Jeffe and I are going to fail the first day in a double whammy vote off.

I could win this if I have a really good idea I can steal from someone else on Google?
I'm not a designer at all, but isn't using GIS a little cheap?
Otherwise I am interested and also Christian from this season has the faggiest hair but is actually a good designer
