Moment of the week for me was definitely the Moon Knight Annual.
The story was great, the art seemed a lot cleaner than on the ongoing series (which I find really hard to get into because of the art.)
So, REGARDING All-Star Batman and Robin.
WHO the fuck WRITES this shit? I mean its SERIOUSLY retarded. Like he WANTS you to see a RANDOM word for NO real reason.
I DISAGREE, karma. It was DISTRACTING to read with the WORDS taking on no RHYME or reason to their SIZE changes.
And I NEVER liked ASSBAR's Batman. He's too ANGRY and not enough SUSPICIOUS.
It's LIKE they just DECIDED that Batman needed to BE less a detective, and more OF a dick.
cable and deadpool
bob the hydra agent and Deadpool go dimension hopping the doc strange and find themselves on a viking boat being attacked by a giant sea serpant. i've missed this smart ass:

"Only, there were a few pieces missing."
I haven't been as big a fan of the art in Moon Knight since the original team left.
The last regular issue was great, though.

I think All Star Batman And Robin is a riot, I don't take it seriously and it's hilarious to read.
GLC #18 was probably my favorite moment of the week, the entire issue... except for
how Sodam didn't put up near as much of a fight as I expected, but it was still a great issue.
Regarding GL,
You have to admit throwing yourself backwards off the uranium rod you're impaled on, and then shoving it in the other guy's mouth, only to have him eat it is pretty badass.

Green Lantern Corps and Batman were the manliest comics to come out.
I have to say... the sheer testosterone pumping out of GL this week made my penis grow three sizes.
It is now size three... still, that whole issue is my moment of the week.
Although, the scene in Teen Titans when...
Miss Martian knocks off her future self's head
was pretty nifty.

Here's hoping for a better artist for the on-going, though. Ever since Finch left the book it's gotten progressively more abstract and hard to follow visually.
It takes place in some sort of group therapy setting with women seated in a small circle. They all tell their stories and you figure out that they were all raped by the same guy, and eventually Moon Knight deals with him. There are a couple twists here and there that I don't want to give away, but it's well worth the money for a good self-contained story.
Angel's pet dragon and Wesley becoming the new Lilah just about made my year. God, how much I missed them. Much more than Buffy and the gang really (although Faith's storyline over on Buffy season 8 is all kinds of awesome, too).
That Gunn plottwist was pretty trite though, how many times have they pulled this now? First Xander's friend Jesse, then Harmony, Fray's brother, and then some minor characters like Ford and Lawson too. It's getting pretty old.
None of those were main characters with established histories, or legitimate threats for that matter.
Harmony and Fray's brother are.
Harmony was practically an extra on Buffy up until the point she was bitten, and after she was bitten her appearances were sporadic outside of her initial relationship with Spike and a few appearances on Angel before finally joining the principal cast in the last season of Angel.
Harmony was also never a threat.
Gunn, on the other hand, was a main character on Angel for several seasons, was only bitten after all those seasons had passed and he'd seen years of character development, and has actually succeeded in killing something stronger than a normal human.
I barely remember Fray, but I don't know that the comic didn't last as long as Gunn's tenure on Angel and that Fray's brother was converted into a vampire fairly early on. Furthermore, if he was that important, you'd know his name.
Hey don't talk trash about Harmony, she was the funniest character on Angel and had the best fight ever on either show.
Also, Fray's brother Harth is the main villain of that series and has all kinds of weird stuff going on inside him that's connected to the Slayer line (because he's the twin of a Slayer) and as a male, too, so I'd call him very intriguing and important. I hope they elaborate on his story in any future Fray offerings.
I love Harmony, and generally the way they took very minor characters (even nameless extras) from Buffy and turned them into recurring characters with a bit of depth. Characters like Jonathan and Harmony, who went from faces in the classrooms into show stealers whenever they were on-screen.
I haven't read Fray, but when Season 8 is eventually concluded I will probably pick everything up in trade. I read the first Buffy trade and it was almost too good.

Harmony is fantastic... I didn't click the link, but I know you are referring to the Harmony/Xander fight in Season 4 (I'm just that good...)
But I think Hooray's point is that Harmony was barely a character until she was bitten... hell, I'm not even sure she had a name until that point. She was just a foil for Cordilia's relationship with Xander...
After she became a vamp... awesomesauce... but up until then, she was really just a prop.

But now I understand what Bendis was talking about how the Sub-Mariner mini ties into Secret Invasion.
Shut up, I love Cass and her kicking the ass of someone she should never be able to kick the ass of will be my moment of the week if I want.

I agree. If you just let go of what you know of the characters, and read it as a completely self-contained story, it's quite entertaining.
Regarding Moon Knight,
Regarding GL,
Those fights would put hair on your chest.
I tolerated the art solely through my man-love for Charlie Huston.

I read it, but I don't don't understand the significance of that person. Who is it following Robin?

Besides, when the main series was called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, are you really going to complain about how often people have turned into vampires?
