GAME have just struck a deal with Nintendo for a supply of Wii consoles over Christmas – Exclusive packs which have games included with the hardware, a separate SKU. There is a 2 game and a 3 game bundle price (tentatively) at £250 and £280 respectively. The Games seem to be 1st party, most likely “Mario & Sonic at the Olympicsâ€, “Mario Party 8†and possibly “Super Mario Galaxyâ€
These bundles will be shipping from Monday, they may be in stock on Monday, or may be in warehouses on Monday, and in stores later in the week. These bundles are totally exclusive to GAME – Nintendo is thanking GAME for their support over the years, and repaying locality.
The number of Wii shipping has been described as “considerateâ€, and continuing up to Christmas. Previous shipments have been "small amount".
Any more questions, feel free to ask in the comments section. Good Luck!

Basically, Nintendo and GAME have negotiated an exclusive supply of Wii consoles, pre-boxed with 2/3 1st party games. I suspect this is because with previous forced bundles from GAME, if you keep the games sealed, you can return them, and end up paying RRP for the console on it's own. This way GAME benefit more from the excess demand, since they can't charge more than RRP for the console, and sell the most additional games this way.
I do find it funny that Nintendo are thanking for support, since I know pretty early on the Gamecube section in my local GAME store was far smaller than the PS2 or Xbox equivalent.
This is not a hardware revision (or at least, we have no reason to believe so yet), so it is safe to assume it will just be like any other consoles, just different packaging.

Some people are nerds for industry stuff like this, like me, but I can see how it might be dull.
Not every news story leads to Call of Diablo
They're thanking them for having a local shop?
Mario & Sonic was published by Sega in Europe
Mario & Sonic is not 1st party. Sega developed, sega published. Pure 3rd party.
And it was published by Nintendo in Japan
Yeah, but GAME is european. It's third party there.
And sega owns the rights to the game. It's strictly third party.
GAME didnt force bundles prior to this, and really it's about bloody time it caught up with the rest. Argos, Gamestation, Zucci (formerly Virgin) + HMV have been doing packages only for awhile - some more than others.
The only bundle I can remember management wanting sold as a bundle and not solus Wii's was a week ago with the Mario Galaxy bundle but frankly, I was more than happy to do that one as it was actually pretty good.
Additionally, the returning of sealed games generally won't work. I never do 'goodwill' without receipt if its of a game I know has been (a) in special offer in the last month (b) in an offer in general (c) part of a bundle . I had a lady the other day who bought a Wii + 4 games from our online store and tried to demand I give her the money back on the games she bought with it as they came up seperate prices on the invoice, but the games all had "Bundle Code" underneath them which resulted in the prices and thus nothing could be done. Generally you can't return games from a package, it defeats the point entirely, but naturally the customer is entitled to a full bundle refund which I am happy to remind them with if they wish to give back their Wii and try elsewhere.
If anything, blame the ebayers for the bundle mess. Most people generally want to buy something to go with their Wii - its the people who come in with friends and buy out stock of solus machines that has forced this situation. GAME, a corporate entity, has give it credit sold solus Wii's for alot longer in the UK High Street than anyone else. Additionally, it's most expensive package of forced bundle is still cheaper than everyone else's LEAST package.
I think it probably stems more from support for the Nintendo DS and Wii in general. GAME -really- backed the DS and it contributed to a strong performance for Wii. GAME also stuck with Gamecube far longer than alot of places - longer than HMV, Argos, Dixons and the like. Infact, my store still has a small Gamecube section. After abandonment for the Gamecube, GAME did various offers for the Gamecube and took part in various Nintendo incentives for it.
Proof to the pudding is Dixons + Nintendo's relationship compared to GAME + Nintendo's relationship. There's definately something - the local HMV received 6 Wii's (and its one of the largest HMV's in the country) compared to around 50 odd Wii's for GAME in the same area. Dixons last time I checked were even -worse- than that for delivery comparisons and frequency.
It's not a hardware revision. The new packaging is in line with GAME Xmas POS and has the logo on it with picture of the Wii. Im sure it says Deluxe Edition or something to that effect. I am unsure to whether its got a Wii normal box inside or what. If anyone gets one, then say something.
