Hrm, I need something that can pull video off of a camcorder via USB, and uh... also will let me edit the video and such...


Does anyone know of a good one off the top of their heads? I'll be looking around on download.com in the meantime... But I'm just wondering if there's a good one that everyone already knows about.

    I'm not sure if Windows Movie Maker can import from USB, but you should try that first. It comes with Windows XP. I use Virtual Dub Mod to cut parts out, and compress it.

    LiVES on Sourceforge might be worth a look, but probably useless if you're on windows.
