Adaptec Gamebridge(1410)

So I picked up a Gamebridge and besides the documentation being infuriatingly small it seemed to install fine. So I fire it up and when I clicked on the Gamebridge button it hardlocked without fail no matter how much or little was running in the background. So I reinstalled and got it to not hardlock, but the video display sat as a black screen no matter how I fiddled with the settings. I searched around and tried disabling DX acceleration since people reported that that worked. So now it's back to hardlocking. Any ideas?

I remember locking up the program when I did something with the audio, although my post asking for help is gone and I don't remember exactly what I did. Does it still lock up when you try it without audio?

I should clarify that its gone back to hardlocking when I click on the gamebridge button.
