The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Around 6 years ago I saw a sketch TV comedy in England, and I can't recall the name of the show - but it was extremely funny and I would like to find it again.
The only scene I remember is this: A teacher dismisses his class, but one student remains behind. The teacher starts talking to him, being supportive and urging him to be his best. Halfway through, the bell goes off. The teacher goes silent, and the student tries to get the teacher to finish the help.
The teacher then says, "Fuck off. It's my time now." And he keeps ignoring the student.
It probably doesn't sound that funny now that I've written it out, but I loved the show. Anyone know what it was? The production looked recent to when I saw it, so it was probably late 90's, or as late as 2001.
I don't recall that scene from anything. We're both the characters Men? Women?
Both characters were male, and relatively young. The teacher, if I remember, had dark hair.
The funny part about the skit was that the teacher fit the cliche "Dead Poets Society" enthusiastic extreme before the final bell rung, and then he just switched it off to a complete dismissive asshole when he was off the clock.
It's from Armstrong and Miller. There's a new series showing just now, and there are a ton of videos on youtube. I'm particularly fond of the RAF airmen sketch.

If it was a female teacher it could be from Smack the Pony.

That's it - thank you!
I think they did a couple bad teacher skits, as I remember one with an individual student as well. But that's definitely the right series.
I checked out the RAF skits - those are great.
