I picked up a used (although still sealed) Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2 combo pack that's shipping with the Premiums these days for $20 at a used game shop earlier today. I liked Forza a lot, even though it had some serious flaws, so I was stoked to find whay I consider a copy of Forza 2 for $20 with a free MUA disc thrown in.
I picked Asia as my starting territory (I want easier access to high end Nissans, especially Skylines, later on), and am now farting around in a Silvia S14 trying to make some dough. My Live Gold expired and I forgot to buy a renewal today, so if there'e a Game On I won't be able to participate, but I was wondering how many people still play?
Also, I guess there is a new track and car pack out on Live Marketplace tomorrow (400 points for the cars, and 100 points for the track was the rumor I heard) . I have a bunch of points left so I already bought Twin Ring (I loved that shit in GT4) and the available cars.
So, do you duders still play Forza 2? I plan on renewing Live sometime this weekend so maybe I'll be up for some races next week if I can get a decent car by then. Maybe show some pictures or something? Talk about the DLC? I don't know. I'm bad at threads. Talk about Forza or something.

Next person to post gets a free 1 month of XBL.
EDIT: Came to my senses about the month of XBL and the reason I did it in this thread is because it was the only 360 thread on first page.

Holy shit, Road America?! I've been waiting since this game launched for that track.
Tonight, we need to get some racing on. I get home around 6pm CST, send friend requests and lets get our race on.
I came to my senses about posting it on gamefaqs :P
I haven't downloaded Road America yet, but I need to, it's one of my favorite real life courses.
It's very satisfying to be able to tune a car from "undrivable" to "kicks everything's ass", too.
And I always get a kick of bringing a cheap car into a race full of expensive cars and winning by banging the other cars up. I did this for the Lightweight and Heavyweight both. The Lightweight is full of these tiny Lotus and Vauxhall sports cars, and I brought in a shitty Japanese hatchback and won by slamming the lead couple guys into a wall, and the Heavyweight is always dominated by this guy in a Ferarri, until I used my Dodge Charger against him. Strategic collisions can take you a long way in this game, what with the realistic damage and all, although it's always a bit risky.
edit: does anyone starting out want a free Do-Luck Supra? I've got two. Long story.
I'll definetly buy the new track.

five minutes later:
"Oh shit, now this thing can't steer worth a goddamn! Wish I didn't waste all that money."
Fixed. Also, here's the full car list:
1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455
1980 Renault 5 Turbo
1983 Audi Sport quattro
1991 BMW M3 E30
1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Evo 'Street Version'
2006 Ferrari FXX
2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
2007 Renault Clio RenaultSport 197
2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
2008 Audi R8 Road Car
2008 Koenigsegg CCGT
damn son, i suck
EDIT: HOLY SHIT AN E30?!?!? I drive one in real life. I am so getting that. The Triple Beam will be made virtual!
Fastest street car in the world is the SSC Ultimate Aero, followed closely by the Bugatti Veyron. I'm pretty sure it was some Koenigsegg model in third place, though.
Any of the cars free? Usually they give out one freebie when they do a DLC set. I'm not buying any until they put that Veyron up there, which probably ain't never gonna happen.
My girlfriend is leaving town tomorrow, and I'm going to be in a deep sea of depression, so I may be up for some races after like eight or nine Pacific. Hopefully I'll have a decent car by then. Or maybe I'll just come with my Trueno.
Every time I buy a racing game with a Trueno I always get it, and I always say "'Trueno, I'm going to make you good", and I pimp it out and I tune it and if the game permits I paint it a pretty color, and I take it out on the track and it sucks. And then I go "Trueno, why do you do this to me, every single time?", and the Treuno says "What? You knew I was a Trueno when you bought me."

incidently its pretty retarded that the only way I was able to race against the AI on this track is to load up a system link multiplayer game with the AI turned on and play by myself.
But that of course means getting an XBL account and forking out ~$110 for the wireless adapter... Then I usually just go back to Warhawk haha.
I'll get round to it one day.
He/She may have their 360 set up a considerable distance away form their modem. Par example my modem is downstairs in my roomate's room, I have to run a significant amount of CAT5 out of her room, to the stairs, up the stairs, into my room, and then into my router, which is connected to my 360.

unless I'm missing something the only way to play Road America outside of multiplayer is test drive or time trials with some R series car in arcade mode
