Pirates are a myth? VC is gonna be grumpy all day.
Haha, well, I think they're testing out some of the stuff from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
O_o
That makes maybe even less sense.
Hmm? Have you seen Mythbusters before, Haps?
Yes, but I'm not sure what they want to clear up. That undead pirates cannot exist? Seamonsters? Captain Jack without rum? Are there any myths surrounding the Pirates movies that I don't know of?
For some reason it makes me uncomfortable to the point of tears and writhing that she is offering to get a hotel room for me to stay in so that I don't have to be without shelter. She told me to get one with my own money but now she says she will get it herself and wtf no

Well, Pirates weren't nearly as fanciful as that. Most of the time they lived in absolute poverty. And had less arms/legs. They usually had much smaller ships, and used different tactics.

Oh, haha, that's fair. Well, the two things they've done so far as the part where Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner use an upside-down boat to trap an air bubble for them to breath underwater, and firing cutlery out of a cannon. Yeah, nothing really totally mystifying, but they're dressed like pirates! The more interesting thing, though, was when their 3 interns went to the beach to test out the sand necktie thing.

Well, no shit. MB had some pretty cool explanations for stuff, but that sounds pretty "duh".
Edit: Ah, ok. It's funny to watch, no matter what.

I don't even know what you guys are talking about...
Why does R6 make it so hard for you to play with your friends?
...It doesn't?
There doesn't seem to be a link I can click on to join my friend's game from his profile. How do I go about this?
You can't invite people to ranked matches, or join friends that are in ranked matches. This is to prevent the learning curve from being too high; if you could team up with your friends all the time, you'd massacre any opposing team that wasn't similarly constructed of people that were familiar with each other, thus making it pretty much essential to find a clan in order to stand any chance in the game.

Ugh, this is what annoys me about Mythbusters. They're so pseudo-science. I mean, they don't even accurately test the myths. The way they were testing the validity of the shooting silverware out of a cannon thing was to point a cannon at a pig carcass. That's retarded, because you don't really need that much accuracy. They would have done better to test it by using a brick wall or pieces of plywood as their target. And the simulation of the sand necktie was questionable, because they simulated the tide with a fucking hose. That's not how the tide works, dumbass! Besides the fact that waves carry a lot of sand in and out, so if you were buried near the waterline, there's a chance the waves could free your arms or something.
Eh, Oboro... you could take it if you promise to pay her back, maybe.
I more understand the role of the giver. I'm a whore, really. Most of the time, I genuinely care, and want to give. It's pathological, I feel, but I actually care and like to be the one to pay for whatever if I can. Drive friends home and that sort of thing.
And then there are the times I do it out of instinct or reaction, or just because I feel bad, and I really don't want to, but I can't say no, especially after offering, but I do so in a way that I hope they'll get that I'm willing to help, but I got other shit to do... right.
Anyhow, point is, don't over analyze the relationship. There existing a tangible, understandable reason you'd work out does not by any, any means that it isn't special.
"I'm afraid we'd only be together because we're just so compatible, that it just can't be real!"

I'd take the hotel, though. Money, money money, Money!

At least you're still in the game. :P
Night, Irene (again).

Night, Irene!
How many available alarms do you have? Do any of them include reliable human beings?
I usually find that I'm able to wake up from a three hour nap easily enough, and it does wonders for awareness/thinking capacities.
