Halo Funny?...

Long time Lurker, first time poster,

Well I will let all of you judge if this is funny, but I thought if it would get a laugh anywhere it would be here. I am doing an illustration for a friend who loves two characters very much. In the end this will be etched into glass. Any thoughts? Feel free to have at the art, I would love the crits, but in honesty I am only posting this for "teh funnees".

    Hmmm... Had not thought that far, but he has no car so I guess that is out. I actually work for a glass design factory so this will end up on a plaque. Christmas seems to have come early this year so sadly it will be just a simple black mirror plaques instead something cut to shape. Stupid ever moving time! SLOW DOWN!

    It's awesome, but I feel like we should see his iconic tail up in the background; and the black jumpsuit under the armor doesn't have a false 6-pack on the actual Master Chief.

    Those are just nit-picky things though, so nice job.

    I cannot believe I left off the tail! Brilliant! THANK YOU. I am updating it right now. As to the "6pack", well... the ref i used was pretty vague there, so I winged it... wung it...??? I guessed. :P I am not a huge fan of either character so please forgive any other inconsistencies.

    ok..mr negative here, whats up?

    i like the drawing. the only i guess negative thing i have to say is...masterchief's helmet is so iconic that is seems weird to see the aromor with no helmet. tigger himself isn't what makes me say "hmm looks off"..it's strictly the lack of helmet.

    to me it reads as a future armored tiger and not as much halo/tiger, even though its clear that it's the halo armor.

    amybe try including the helmet with no visor and ear holes? with an elongated bottom nose/mouth section.

    the jt paintball mask visor is what screams halo to me.

    i dunno. i'm prob just being nit picky.

    Am I Mr. Negative? Not a bad idea on the helmet at all. The thought crossed my mind as well but only briefly. I was really going more for the absurdity of this. For all anyone knows, this IS what he looks like under the armor. No one has ever seen him right? :P

    Oddly I guess I never thought of MC's helmet as iconic... just looks like a paint ball mask to me, but then as I said, I am not his biggest fan. Cool looking character, don't get me wrong, just thought he was a package deal.
