Xbox 360 - Creating a US live account?

Hey everone, I live in Australia, and so content on Xbox live is different to that of other countries. For example, I can't download the Dead Rising demo. I heard you could create a US, and or, Japanese silver live account to get the content unavaliable here, but I haven't been able to do it. When creating a new account, the locale is frozen over "Australia". Is there anyway to do this?

edit: created a US account, but it still won't download. Maybe it has been taken off the servers?

    I could be remembering wrong, but I think one of the Dashboard updates made it so that you could only download content from your real region, even with a profile that was supposedly of a different region.

    Just buy Dead Rising. I promise it's worth whatever you can pay for it. :)

    Thanks guys :(. I can get it for about 44 dollars Australian. Maybe I'll try eBay. Cheers.
