I haven't played my Wii for a month or two due to getting a 360, when I went to fire up Wii Sports the other day I discovered a problem. Wii Sports is gone. I found it's flimsy paper case but it's not in there. I've literally torn apart the house searching for it, no luck so far.
Does anyone know if they will replace it? I did some Google searching and some guy in a GameSpot forum thread (reliable eh?) said they charge $14.95. I checked Nintendo's online store for replacement parts but it's not listed. I'll have to call Nintendo support tomorrow. Anything but pay the scalpers on eBay...anywhere from $50 to $130 for the game on there.
This guy on CAG says he got a replacement as well. I wouldn't be surprised, Nintendo's customer service is top notch. Doesn't say how much they charged (or if they did at all).
Also, this person says they got a replacement disc for free and didn't even have to send their broken one in. Now this was last year so policy could be different. Call and I'm sure they'll hook you up.
I just got off the phone with Nintendo support. I told them I lost it because if I had told them I broke it and they wanted me to send it in I would have been screwed. Cost $15 plus tax and shipping, not bad at all.
