xkcd if it stops sucking, A Softer World is ok, and I like Wapsi Square but haven’t read it in ages
GPF was good but I haven’t read it in about a year because the schedule got so messed up

It must be an attempt to parody the idiocy of CAD. That's the only explanation I can come up with.

A few minutes looking through the archive explains it: the CADsucks joke is that the PBF strip needs no dialogue, but he went ahead and added some anyway, which is apparently making fun of the real ctrl-alt-del guy's tendency to do this. That's the shtick - to either remix an existing cad comic to make it funnier, or to photoshop another comic strip like Dilbert or PBF to make it unfunny like ctrl-alt-del.

edit: where he's remixed a CAD strip, he links to it directly underneath the comic

Well a little explanation would be all thats needed really. As it stands it's hard to even tell an edit of the original CAD and the other comics just seem like he doesn't find them funny. It's confusing.

I think the cadsucks guy actually makes a good point. It's not going to win him fame and fortune, but it's critique, not art. I mean, this

Does it bug anyone else when webcomic people make grammatical and linguistic errors in their comics? Errant Story is by far the worst, but the one that bugs me the most is the time when Kurtz tried to make a bros-before-hos joke and absolutely failed because he had no fucking clue what "aforementioned" means. He never even went back to correct it.

It bugs me only because I know that if the author is a retard, the comic will not be good.

That's reaching a bit, I think :P Grammatical mistakes don't necessarily indicate retardation. I really enjoy Errant Story, but it's got like an average of 2 typos or run-on sentences per page.

Run-ons are one thing. Typing "are" in place of "our" is another.

So for a job, I am being asked to pick the two cities I'd like to work in from this list: Santa Monica, Kirkland/Seattle, New York, Boston, Chicago, Boulder, Pittsburgh, Irvine, Phoenix and Mountain View.

I believe those are all in the US, but I'm not sure (I've never even heard of Santa Monica, Boulder, Irvine or Mountain View). The only city in there that I've visited is New York. I know next to nothing about any of these cities.

So American [chat]ers, pick my future. Where do I want to work?

Mountain View is in the Bay Area, around Silicon Valley. My boyfriend lived there for a summer doing an internship for Handspring. He said it was rather nice, but very pricey to live in. And traffic is bad, I think.

Out of those places, I'd pick Kirkland/Seattle and... Boston? I guess maybe Santa Monica. Irvine might not be bad, but it's not a very interesting place to live. Kirkland/Seattle would be my top choice, though. I loved living in the Seattle area, and the East side is definitely the place to be.

    1. Computer science R&D.
    2. I like medium cities. When it has all the services and businesses of large cities, but still has the feel and green spaces of a small town.
    3. I'm in Canada. I'm used to weather going from fucking cold to fucking hot. I'm ok with both... it's the transitions I really hate.
