I don't know if anyone here remembers a side scrolling shooter for the original playstation back in like 1997, called Einhänder. I'm thinking of getting together a petition to send to Square-Enix, to see if a port to the PSP may be possible. lemme know what you think.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einh%C3%A4nder <-a link to the wikipedia page for those who havent played it/heard of it. It is really an amazing game if you don't know of this masterpiece you're missing out.
Wouldn't even need to be a port. Couldn't they just release the thing as one of those Playstation Classics on the PSN, and you could then play it on both PS3 and PSP. That'd work.

Potentially, but I don't know if there are any third parties involved at the moment. Also, Squeenix doesn't do it for Nintendo's VC, so I don't know why they would for Sony's services.

Symphony of the Night?
yeah, SE seems pretty apprehensive over stuff like this, mostly because they could probably make more money by porting it themselves, but I think if any PS1 game would get this sort of treatment on the PSN it'd be something like Einhander. It's something relatively unknown that wouldn't make them much on a port anyway, so they may as well release it on the PSN and get some bucks.
I see Einhander in MCAllen where I used to live, and they had it on sale there for $12, never knew whether to get it or not as i'd heard relatively little about it around then.
I still haven't played it. Heard the import PSX game mags raving about it though.

Actraiser says you're a liar. Also, it could totally beat you up.

Einhander and Blazing Lazers for me.

I really love the game it has a ton of weapons and most of them are fun to use and/or effective
Except the Mosquito and the Python, trying to use those weapons as intended will get you killed.
Soundtrack is awesome too i always have it on my ipod.
Einhander was fucking sweet. A PSP port/remake would be absolutely amazing.
