So with David Bowie, is it strange that Ziggy Stardust is the only album of his that I actually like?
I just can't listen to any of the really campy stuff, except for Ashes to Ashes.
listening to regina spektor for the first time right now
it's pretty good
The music videos for Samson, On The Radio, and Fidelity are all pretty great
Speaking of Regina Spektor videos, I absolutely love this live video of her doing "Poor Little Rich Boy." Not only because it is one of my favorite songs of hers, but because she is so effing adorable. Like the way she kinda falters and laughs the first time the audience cheers mid-song, or that shy, humble smile at the end.
It's just mean is what it is.

I started listening to bittersweet symphony again
Last time I heard this my mum was passed out on the floor and I had to call an ambulance.
They were formed like a year and a half ago, and their first live gig was stadium sized, they are not a good band, even if their music was wonderful, they as a band are terrible
new Andrew Bird
it's ok
I don't know if I like it as much as the last album, but the songs I enjoy on this one a lot of rehashes of songs from his previous albumand the new songs just kind of pass me by
still a nice album though
Starfuck on

Fuck multiple stage festivals, or at least ones where I'm not in charge of the schedule.
I'm really dreading the Big Day Out. I haven't been for about 10 years and I bet the number of wankers has gone up while my tolerance for them has gone down.
I was doing some show prep today in study hall.
I'm looking at my notebook thinking "OK, 15 songs, that's decent, that's enough to get me going on a show, and then I'll get some ideas as I go and it won't be that hard to fill the rest of an hour."
Then I realized that most of those songs are between 1:30 and 2:00 long.

panic at the disco does suck live
like, how could you screw up those guitar parts?
they're just chords
HECK YES they do!
I think i have all their albums, and they are fucking mental and amazing.
I know, I'm nub
She'll grow on you. I can pretty much gaurantee it.
I think her New Soul song is almost too radio pop and she does a cover of Toxic, which actually isn't so bad. I really dig her hebraic songs, though.
I keep giving Goatwhore chances to really impress me.
I just can't listen to any of the really campy stuff, except for Ashes to Ashes.
I remember Thom Yorke saying it was Bowie's best album.
Is it really good?
I'll listen to it asap.
But yeah, I've tried listening to Low, Aladdin Sane, Scary Monsters, and I just don't get it. Not my kind of stuff, I guess.

I keep listening to them and getting my face blasted off. :O
that's pretty rad. I wish I could do that.

I am glad I can listen to this song again.
If you can, listen to A Storm in Heaven while stoned. It's the best.

The band though, are completely tripe, that drummer will explode if he's not playing a simple beat.
The music itself I'm indifferent to, some of it's alright, the other is headache material.
Did he do Majesty, Snowbird?
It's a newer song, still unreleased, but so effing beautiful.
Yep. Predatory Wasp was probably the highlight though, people were crying.
Arcade Fire will have to be on their game to top that when I see them in 10 days.
it's ok

Right now, the only song I have that's much longer than 2 minutes is the live version of Story of My Life, clocking in at like 4:something.
STEAM!
Oh Meddle.
One of those albums where I have no clue what the fuck is going on.
one of these days is real fuckin trippy if you have a badass system in your car
STEAM!
i cannot wait for a studio version of that
