The biggest blizzard that ever did blizz

Right now in Ottawa we're already getting the second ridiculously huge storm of the season, complete with over 10 inches of snow. If these snowflakes were those killer bees everyone wouldn't shut up about in the 90's, it would be better. This year's Winter sucks frozen snowman balls.

Tell me what the weather's like where you are and feel free to rub in its liveable superiority.

Or...I don't know...talk about Herman Wouk.

There were flurries here this morning at like 8:00.

    That was pretty crazy.

Yesterday the forecast was all "Holy fuck, we're gonna get like six inches of ice tomorrow!"

I woke up, hoping I wouldn't have to go to work, and it's kinda nice outside, which sucks.

I'm down in Hamilton, Ontario. I was supposed to drive to Dayton Ohio today to be on site at a customer site for tomorrow, but I'm afraid that is not going to happen today.

If this continues, it may not happen tomorrow too.

Both days the trains were delayed by 2 hours and people did NOT know what the fuck to do.

Chicago got about 4-6 inches yesterday afternoon / night, the same night I had to drive downtown to see Wu. Had to walk about 2 miles from where we parked in driving snow to get to the venue, and the entire drive back was such a fucking struggle to not run off the road.

    Worth it, though.

Too bad bees have been mysteriously dying from some sort of Bee virus or something.

So I'm gonna go stock up on microwaveable noodles and other things that won't do me any good once the power goes out.
