hub trouble

I travel between university and home every so often, and have wireless connections at both places. One's Virgin's wireless, and at home I have a BT Homehub. Both have worked fine until now.

Right now, I can't connect to the BT Homehub wirelessly. It's detected, and the signal is at the maximum strength, but it won't connect, and says 'the signal may have moved out of range'. This is the case on both laptops.

The internet operates prefectly via cables, on both the host PC and the laptops if they're hooked up. I've tried all the channels, with no luck.

Anything else it could be? Really frustrating having to trail a LAN cable to my laptop.

Have you tried power cycling the router? Any recent changes made to it? Anything nearby that could be causing interference such as a cordless phone or microwave?

No recent changes to my knowledge. Tried power cycling a couple of times. Really can't figure this out - I've determined it's not specific to one laptop or one wireless card; two laptops of independent owners fail to connect in the same manner.

    Try changing the wireless channel.

    To put it bluntly; Helpppppppppppppp

I can't even think of anything else to try, my knowledge in these things only goes so far. Channels 1-11 do nothing different; I left the router off for about a minute and it changed nothing, I see no options that sound helpful in the hub manager...

    What could be causing this?
