Boxing Day in Canada (Our Black Friday) .. I need help picking an HDTV

Boxing Day is a Commonwealth holiday and is Canada's version of the US Black Friday.

On the day after Christmas, Canadians rush out to the mall's (those not in all night line's already). Just like the US's Black Friday there are insane deals to be had on Boxing Day.

I'm buying an HDTV ... my current model is a CRT 27inch first gen HDTV Samsung. It's served me well and I'm glad I bought it as it gave me a beautiful 1080i resolution even if i had to put up with black bars (TV has 4:3 aspect).

The time however has come to move up to the big leagues and I need some advice. I trust you guys, let me know what you think of these TV's (particularly for gaming on):

BEST BUY (these are some of the TV's on sale all at very good prices by Canadian standards)

1) 42" LG LCD 42LB5D - $1199
2) 42" Toshiba LCD 42HL67U - $999
3) 37" Sony 720p Bravia LCD HDTV - $799.99
4) 46” Sharp Aquios LC46D62U – $1499
5) 32" Westinghouse 720p 1200:1 contrast ratio $499.99
6) 32" Samsung 720p 7000:1 contrast ratio $649.99
7) 52" Sharp Aquios LC52062U -- $1899
8) 50" Norcent Plasma PT-5045HD -- $1199
9) 46" Sony 1080p Bravia KDL46V3000 -- $1799

The BB Boxing Day flyer can be found here

Any opinions on which one of these is a good value for the money? I've looked over reviews but I'm still not sure ... I know it sounds stupid but I wonder if it will it be harder to game on a big TV (I've been playing on a 27inch of a long time now)?

I can grab any one of the TV's above, price isn't an issue but I do want to pick something that's quality. Currently I'm very tempted to go with the 46" Aquios despite so/so reviews as the TV is 800 dollars off the regular price.

I've heard that Sharp, Sony and Samsung are the best out there, I'm not really sure about the other brands.

Where in your domicile will the TV be going? How many/what systems will you have hooked up to it?

TV will be in my apartment (main living room). Will have a 360 (component), a PS3 (HDMI), an HD Cable box (HDMI) and a Yamaha Reciever (Which has 1 HDMI slot and 2 component)

I have the 32" Westinghouse and it is sexcellent. It is 720p native, mind you. If 1080i/p is horribly important to you then you better be prepared to pony up more than $499.

I'm ok with putting up extra money. I'd like 1080P as the PS3 outputs that for the Blu Ray movies.

For perspective the TV will be going where my silver CRT resides right now in the pic below:

I can move things around if a bigger TV needs more space, or we need to be sitting further back?
