As part of the process of getting data off of a dead hard drive, I'd like to try to save my Firefox bookmarks. However, I'm not entirely sure what exactly I need to copy off of the drive. Anyone know exactly what I need to copy over (or try to, assuming the directory isn't fubared)?
In the future, use foxmarks. It stores your bookmarks on a centralized database on the internet. I use it because I have about 4 different computers that I use (Desktop, Laptop, Work, Parents).

Assuming it's using the default settings.
You should be able to just copy the bookmarks.html file and import it.
Then just do File>export.
He's trying to get it off a dead hard drive. I don't think he can run the Firefox that's on it.
