It's a third person shooter
FYI to those thinking of creating UK accounts, I believe the "1 week gold only" rule applies. So you won't be able to get this on a silver account. However you may get 1 free month of gold when signing up for the first time. Can anyone confirm?
It's a third person shooter that uses FPS controls. Being able to see my character's ass doesn't really change it much

I guess there is no Online MP apart from scoreboards?
I saw videos of both 4 player split-screen deathmatch as well as normal 1 screen deathmatch via LIVE.
Ho Ho now Where talking Sounds like it could be a laugh!
Always shoot them through their shields.

Damn you Marketplace!
I'd really like to try this out.

Direct towards darleysam for coming up with it.

Just to clarify, I'm not trolling or pissing on the thread, just saying why it's not my kind of thing.
:x
lol dis game sux id ravr play myst.
Surely it's a demo and there for use to give opinions on?
I'm pretty sure that's what demos are for!
I may like it more in the full game, with a different character, I felt the one you were given was a bit sluggish.

I had a coffee mug which beeped that tune whenever it was picked up. Fun times.
Bizarre should really make their own singing coffee mug to tie in with this game.
8 levels divided up into several routes and types(some consisting of laps with differing enemy patterns on each lap), 8 characters, tons of guns... it looks like they hit the mark here.
It's up? I'm definitely checking it out tonight. When does the full game actually come out in NA?
The thread title is mildly amusing (is it a European humor thing, sorry, I'm not really getting it) but I don't know if it's really conveying how potentially awesome the game could be. Tycho had nothing but grand things to say of The Club when he tried out the demo last week:
Lewiep's "jacked-up Mercs mode from RE4" comparison is sounding more and more delicious to me. More people need to know about the game -- I almost skimmed over it entirely because "The Club" is almost as generic of a title as "Battlefield: Heroes."
Yeah, this game looks and sounds so generic that whenever I hear about it or see screenshots I have to remind myself that 'wait a minute, this isn't some random shooter, this is that one game that looks freakin awesome!'
It's a shame, but it won't stop me from playing.
With a tenuous sega connection?
To the Demotron!
2009 is a year of Updates - one every Monday. Hopefully. xx
a split second pause between when I pull the trigger and when the firing begins. That throws me off, and to be an arcady game, I can't really see why there's a delay.
I had to turn the gamma all the way up, because I couldn't see shit. But after I got the baddies memorized, that became less of a problem.
I'll give it another try later. I was only able to find like... four regular skull combos and two secrets. It detailed how to do those "style" kills, but I don't think it ever gives you the option to do it in the demo. Does the level have branching paths?
What's the multiplayer like?
The demo is currently downloading upstairs, it should probably be about done right now. I probably wouldn't have noticed the delay if you hadn't mentioned it, and if it bothers me now I'm going to kill you. :P
multiplayer (granted it was 2 player split screen) did not impress me, and i was ready to write it off...
singleplayer however piqued my interest. We took turns running through missions trying to top each others scores and had quite a fun time doing so...
