I've always been a console gamer but tried company of heroes this week and would like to buy it but am unsure if my laptop can run it. (I use a non intel mac normally but picked up a cheap laptop recently.)

Anyway my laptops specs are

Mobile AMD Sempron Processor 3400+ 1.8ghz, 256 kb l2 cache

ATI Radeon Xpress 1100

80 GB HDD

1 gig ram

thanks for any help you can give

    I wouldn't be gaming on that machine. Older processor and integrated graphics probably won't be able to handle anything more than basic gaming. It can run WoW, but then my Microwave can just about run WoW.

    It might run on low settings...I'd try downloading the demo before I gave up.

    Yeah, just try the demo. I know it runs on low settings on a 9600, but I don't even know what an Xpress can do. There are plenty of other good PC games you know :D

    Try Morrowind;

    Once you realize you hate it, try Oblivion

    ...I kid, I kid

    *hated Morrowind, loved Oblivion*
