Looking for calm and relaxing music

I've recently purchased Endless Ocean/Forever Blue for the Wii as part of my Christmas gift, and now I'm looking for some calm and relaxing music to listen to while I'm diving, preferably with a water theme. Could anybody help me out?
Let's see. Not all of my suggestions are probably not exactly like the music in the game, but they're what I lsten to when I need to relax.
I very much like theBuddha Bar albums. It's hard to describe. Some albums are a bit more fast paced, but still oddly soothing, while others are clearly for chillin.
Anything by Nujabes. Those are some of the most relaxing beats I've ever found. He also worked on the Samurai Champloo soundtrack. Richard Cheese does lounge versions of popular songs.
Anything classical or jazz related. Both relaxing and classy.

Sarah McLachlan(mostly the Fumbling Towards Ecstacy album, offhand). Also, Dave Matthews Band - #41(from Crash).
The latter's more instrumental, so that might be better. Great to have on repeat for an indefinite amount of time.
Any of the Final Fantasy piano albums would be great, on that note.

Wow, thanks a lot for your many recommendation! I'm gonna have to listen into some of those songs, but I'm sure that I'll find what I'm looking for. Oh, and keep on coming up with new ideas if you still know some music pieces that would fit the criteria.

...is it good?
Go to Overclocked Remix and look under the categories of most major RPGs. There's a piano rendition of some Earthbound theme that I can't remember at the moment, but the remix is called "Nirvana" and the remixer is dhsu. It's utterly beautiful.
Megaman 2 is credited for having some of the best video game music ever, and as a result there are tons and tons of remixes. Many of them are done with pianos, so it shouldn't be hard to find something that's not a lame techno mix.
As for specific artists, the album Y#A#Infinity by Godspeed You! Black Emperor consists of three 16-20 minute tracks of ambience with the occasional monologue. It might just be your thing. It definitely sets a mood and became one of my favorite albums pretty quickly.
Boards of Canada might work. The Campfire Headphase is really chill stuff.

I've got a playlist of relaxing OCRemix songs. It includes the following:
I'd suggest Colma by Buckethead. According to wikipedia "the album was recorded for Buckethead's mother as she was ill and he wanted to make an album she would enjoy listening to whilst recovering."
This is nujabes. Not enough people know about nujabes. It's real instruments recorded and treated digitally. Sometimes he has underground rappers doing lyrical poetry over it. All in all, it's awesome, and I listen to it at work.

Just curious, was diving a typo? How do you listen to music while diving?
Second Sigur Ros and raise a little Kings of Convenience.

Thanks for recommending me Autechre and Nujabes, they make exactly the kind of music that I was looking for! In fact, I dig their songs so much that I've added some of them to the regular playlist on my iPod. I really like "Adrift and at Peace" from Nine Inch Nails and "The Sea and the Rythm" from Iron and Wine as well, those two make nice additions to my list. Also, good call on the Final Fantasy piano pieces and Metroid Prime OST, I've found quite a few gems while listing to them.
I haven't even gone through all of the songs you listed in this thread yet, and I've already put a sizeable collection of atmospheric music together. I very much appreciate your help, thanks!
I don't have it yet due to Amazon screwing up my order, but it should get here any day now. I'm going to post some impressions in the G&T thread as soon as I've gotten around to playing it.
Uhm well, I just wanted to imply that I'm going to listen to the music while I'm doing scuba diving (in the game), the sentence might not be 100% grammaticaly correct though. But yeah, English isn't exactly my strongest language.
Hmm, I listen to a lot of relaxing music. Some of my favorites are Thievery Corporation - Cosmic Game, Massive Attack - 100th Window, Zero 7 - Simple Things, Portishead - Portishead, Lamb - Lamb and many more. All of these are of electronic/trip hop stylings but all are relaxing... hopefully you enjoy.

I've got a playlist of relaxing OCRemix songs. It includes the following:
One Girl in All the World (there is a "sequel" to it, All the World in One Girl that I'm not as fond of)
Crystalline Caverns
Chillout
Another Inspiration
Tears for a Girl
Forest Birdcussion
Brambles in the Breeze
Darkworld Jazz
That's a band my cousin's in, some of their stuff is very relaxing. Check out Spiral Flower.
I'll second the vote for Iron and Wine.
I Hope Tomorrow is Like Today- Guster
Maybe check out some Andrew Bird, from Weather Systems in particular.
Really cool sorta spacey-dub/reggae stuff
