Okay, so the girlfriend, in all her awesomeness, got me a nintendo DS for christmas. I'm trying to get online, but i'm running into problems. I've got a netgear router, and my connection is set up with a wep key for protection. I entered in the wep but it still won't connect. Another security measure I have is to only allow the mac ID's that I input, namely my wifi adapter on the PC. Do I just need to disable this to get the DS working, or is there more I need to do?

    Um, how is the DS going to connect if its MAC address isn't in the router if your router uses MAC address filtering?

    It's not, what I was wanting to know was weather or not there was a way to find the DS mac, or if I was just going to have to turn off the filtering.

    (I think it's hilarious that a university adds individual game-console MAC addresses to their list before they can get online. There's no reason why I find it hilarious, I just do.)

    If you have a wireless router, don't forget your password....

    In the end I was able to add the DS mac ID to keep the network security in tact.
