So my girlfriend received a laptop for xmas this year. I put on a copy of XP lole(she was having too many problems playing her games and using her nursing school programs on vista) and have downloaded all the drivers but I cannot get the built in card readers to work. The computer is a Sony Vaio VGN-n370E and the reader according to the book is a "Multimedia Card Reader: Memory Stick PRO and Memory Stick Duo media with MagicGate functionality. ExpressCard /34 Slot" The disc that comes with all the drivers has been misplaced and anything I download from the Sony support site offers no help. Thanks all!

According to the specs, it can only read Sony memory sticks. Are you sure that you could read SD cards with it before?

    |EDIT| Wait, it does say that there is an SD/MMC slot, but it may be separate from the memory stick slot. Hm...
