    Wait Total Annihilation? Fuck yes. PotU, you need to get this game. It is freely available with all legality and such. It is the predecessor to Supreme Commander, and is better.

    The game has so much depth to it. With the Absolute Annihilation mod, there were so many units to choose from, real defensive strategies to use and such. It is so many kinds of good.

    Edit: Friends and I at college (Muttnik, OmegaTofuNinja, Firetruck nobody really big on the forums) played the shit out of last year, and have gotten a few rounds in this year.

    That was actually the first game I ever played

    I only just picked it up last year, but it has aged so well. I mean... the mods that updated the graphics don't hurt any. But the fact that you have artillery that works well, terrain that you can actually use to your advantage, Sea, air and land units that can all work together.. man. It is one of the best RTSs out there. I was actually a bit let down by Supcom. Even though it is a fantastic game, Total Annihilation was so much deeper.

    This is not to say it is hard to play, it is just that the complexity is there if you want it.

    My biggest disappointment is when I learned that Cavedog stopped doing new units. There was some pretty nice stuff in there, like submarine constructors and a lot more underwater buildings

    Considering how easy the game is to get (setting it up and running for everybody is another story...).. and free, we should really go a Game on or lets play type thing for the SE++ crowd for TA.

    I spent newyears eve switching between the 'to catch a predator' marathon and Kim Possible.

    I felt conflicted.

    On one hand, heres a show catching pervy freaks who proposition young girls, and on the other heres chris hansen being a smug mother and stoping some poor fucks from tossin dick around.

    You haven't met my computer. We kept having so many problems with it while we were playing. Lag was a bad issue, my computer kept freezing up and had to be rebooted, I couldn't get into/host games at all. So many issues with it.
