So the delightful Squidbunny and myself just decided to do quick comics collaborations with each other in OpenCanvas, each drawing a panel in a sequence, in order to make a story. Just to see how things would go, you know? An experiment!

Here is our first attempt!

Any comments or whatever would be appreciated. We will do more of these, and the art in them will hopefully improve as we acquaint ourselves with this terrible, terrible piece of junk software.

    While I didn't quite get what happened in the last two frames, everything here is enjoyable. Really nice stuff if this is some over the web "drawing in tandem" program.

    I like it. I like the art style - even tho it's messy, it works. I wish the text was a little easier to read though. I like that it's tasteful, colorful, the characters are interesting (like the octopus hair) and the little mini-episodes are humorous without needing to understand some sort of inside joke.

    He's clearly not naked. Scarf, goggles, mask, gloves, armbands, ponytail holder... he's wearing a lot of stuff! In the last few panels he's got some pie filling on. And he's upped his Incan/American Indian accessories by about 5-8 percent!

    I'm sorry to disappoint you but while I know of them, I haven't read them either, and my only knowledge about John Carter's exploits are of his appearances in both League of Extraordinary Gentleman volumes.

    Moog, you haven't really lived until you've survived a Minnesota winter. When you leave your house for the first time in eight long months and stand on your doorstep on the first day of spring, taking in that first breath not tainted by the stench of the rotten corpses of your friends you ate to survive. Exhilarating.

    By the way, these comics are fantastic.
    And John Carter is the shit.
