Gas Powered Games announced their next title: Demigod. Basically they took the Defense of the Ancients (DotA) mod for Warcraft III and based an entire game around it. in DotA, there's two sides with bases trying to destroy each other, but instead of building stuff and harvesting resources, you only control a single hero unit that levels up as you kill stuff.

In Demigod, you have a Demigod who does a similar thing, though some just rely on themselves while other's build bases for support. According to the developers, the game is designed primarily for multiplayer (both vs and coop), though there will be a singleplayer mode (which, apparently, is more for training).

    I'm going to guess the platform will be PC only, which is lame.

    I used to <3 DOTA back it the day, and would really dig it if something like it were produced for the 360.

    Hopefully they're not dicksuckers with the system requirements this time. I'm looking at you, Supreme Commander.
