Getting internet anywhere on a laptop?

My aunt has a laptop, and because of the needs of her buisness, she needs to have internet everywhere on her laptop. I know this is possible, I met someone once who had this card in their laptop that gave them internet everywhere, they just payed a monthly fee or something.

Does anyone know anything about this? She asked me but I don't know where you would get something like this, or who to go about contacting.

Thanks a lot.

All the major cell networks have unlimited data plans and cards available for laptops. Depending on where she's going to use it (as in, major cities, etc), she may want one particular carrier over the other for coverage reasons. Also, depending on where she might be, one service might be faster than another.

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?

All the major carriers offer a 30 day trail for their network. You will have to pay for the time you use it, but you are not locked into any contracts yet. Test out the "Big 3" (AT&T, Verizon and Sprint) to see who you like best. If you are in a major city most of the providers should offer their own brand of 3g service. Speeds should range from 500kbps up to and over 1mbps. I have an AT&T card in Seattle, and consistently get over 1mbps when in 3G.
