I foolishly didn't jump on the Wii Zapper/Crossbow Training link as soon as Lewie posted it as it was back ordered for a good few weeks and I thought I'd hope to find it in stock elsewhere in the meantime. Now apart from being sold out it seems to be being removed form the catalogue of every damn site out there including that one!

I've since caved in to fear and got it from Ebay for £30 like the fool I am. But seriously what is with this? Shortest print run ever? Are they really just not distributing any more?

I wouldn't worry, the zapper is a piece of shit. You're better off without it, or if you want a gun shell, there are much better 3rd party options. That Perfect Shot one especially.

Was £8 before that, but it sold out pretty quickly.

The whole 'moved country xbox troubles' thing? I thought that was a case of rubbish support staff and lack of a corporate infrastructure to deal with this kind of thing. Why's a boycott called for?

Couldn't find anything on the blog about it, so could someone fill me in (or link to the topic on here... I say hoping it's not on the first page)

Sheesh, I didn't realise the the situation had devolved to such lows. I think the boycott is justified after reading that. Sucks for me though as the 360 is my main gaming machine.

Freshly Picked - Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, DS - £9.99 delivered

Edit: Centipeed, I have asked around my mates in London that I would be able to crash at overnight.

One I couldn't get hold of because he is in Feltham Young Offenders Institue D:
One is out of the country that week
The other one is at uni halls, and just about has room for one...

No one else has got back to me, but they might do in the next few days, I'll keep you posted, but it's looking like you might have to find somewhere to stay yourself. Sorry man.

I'm looking at these two because they stock the Wacom Cintiq 12WX.

    But a % off = cheaper.

Hey, no problems. It was a bit of an expense, so I figure I'll just end up not going because there's some stuff going down around that time anyway. I still need to come up to Durham though :P

Has anyone bought from game.co.uk before?

Call of Duty 4 is taking a while to ship. It says my funds have been cleared (but won't be debited until it's shipped) and it's ready for packing, but that was 2 days ago.

wtf at the microsoft/squirminator story. That is outrageous. I was considering buying a 360 for rock band but i've now changed my mind.

I've bought from game.co.uk before and had no problems, but they aren't as cheap as other places so i never go there anymore.

Exactly same problem i had. I bought a game, nothing happend, then out of stock on their site, no info from them, I sent an email asking for an ETA... nothing... then emailed to cancel the order.... it was cancelled, but with no kind of confirmation at all. Rubbish!

hello, just a wee post to say Shopto has loads of low priced games right now, ive never used them before so dont know what the service is like, but ive not seen anywhere else come close to the 18 games they have for less than £20 each. GRAW2 and rainbow 6 are both 17.95 which looks like a damn bargain seeing as youd pay more for second hand ones from blockbuster!

I'd be gratefull if anyone could let me know of any previous experience theyve had with the site, cause im sorly tempted to buy some new games.

Shopto ship their games really fat in my experience, I've never had any trouble with them. But, if you name specific titles you are after, I am pretty confident they are available elsewhere cheaper.

If you order before 5pm, Shopto will ship out your item that day and 99% of the time it will arrive on your doorstep the next morning, excluding Sundays. You have to sign for it as it's recorded delivery, but depending on your postie he might just lob it through the letterbox.

A word of advice, though - first-time shoppers have to have their first two orders sent to their billing address. However, you can get around this by registering your address first and your card second, and it'll get sent to the address you registered first, even if it's different to your billing address. You still can't alter it until you've completed two orders, though.
