Online Classes

I would say it's been at least a year since I attented college. This was due mostly because of my new job, which has me working until the evening, which is the only time the campus was taking classes for my subject of choice (which would be a certification for Managment Information Systems).

Well, I want to start heading back to college, especially since my job offers a very generous tuition reimbursment. Many co-workers all agree that online courses are the best bet, offering the convenience of never having to leave home as well as completing any time during the day, within whatever deadline is necessary.

The only question is which online campus should I enroll in? I'd like to finish that certification, although I'm more interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree in something (and to this day, I'm not sure what that something is). Would you happen to know any reputable online campuses that offer a diverse list of majors, as well as the flexibility to complete their courses within a week or so time limit?

Right now I've only got one site, recommended by a co-worker. It appears legit, although they haven't e-mailed or mailed me any of their iternary despite requesting the information twice.

Have you checked out your local state universities? I know of a few around me that offer some degrees exclusively through online classes and I'm sure there are many others out there.

I haven't searched extensively, but some tips on which online campuses are worth looking into would help, or some general do's and dont's.

I'm in FL by the way. Sorry for not mentioning that previously.

I've taken a few courses at UoPhoenix to meet some pre-reqs at my brick n' mortar university, and their system is pretty good. Most of their classes start new sessions each week, so you should be able to find ones that have dates you want. Also, from my experience, their counseling/advising system is fantastic.

Took a look at that site, and the bulk of courses seem to be associate in arts (which I already have) or bachelor's science. I'm specifically trying to find a bacehlor's degree or certification, something that won't take another two years or more to complete.

    UCF?
I say find a local college because you might need to/benefit from some face to face courses. Granted, I don't know WHERE in Florida you are, but I know you must be near something.
