Is sterling silver any good? I'm hearing mixed answers everywhere, so I thought to ask H/A right away to get the what's what.

    Depends on the situation. Is this for you, or is it a gift. If it's a gift, what kind of budget do you work with? Is this for a friend, a family member, or someone with whom you hope to have a personal relationship.

    Sterling silver is very nice, it makes a good, inexpensive gift that still shows you care. I would consider staying away from the retail chain stuff though and find a nice jewelry store to buy it from.
