I seem to have picked up some kind of virus on my computer. I let a friend use it and since then its been running extreamly slow. I do have Windows Vista. If I pull up Nveiw while the computer is just sitting at the desk top, I see that the CPU is hovering around 5%, my Memory stays at around 25% but my disk usage isn't dropping below 100% usage. I have run a fully updated copy of AVG as well as Panda, neither are picking up anything and I am really at a loss here.

Four Inter Linked Xeon Quad Cores (16 Cores total) at 3.0 ghz, 8 Gigs of GDDR2 Ram Two SLI'ed Nvidia 8600 GT OC's. Got one Terabite drive, unsure of maker. Motherboard is a server mobo, getting name and SN soon. Its been a while since I built this thing. (I appologise profusley for the multi posts, I have been typing this on my psp and just realized I had made several replys to my thread rather than editing. I must be running on auto or something.
Then take the info it gives you and post it in one of the forums linked on the forums page of the hijack this site and people will be able to take a look and see whats running that should not be.
Edit: damn 16 cores and 8 gigs of ram. Something like that would cut my render times down to nothing! Very nice setup.
Try booting up into safe mode and running through scans with those programs again. If that fails, then try running Prevx. I'm unaware if the program has an bad reputation, or if it has one at all, but the last time that my brother had a virus on his computer that AVG and Avast didn't get rid of, Prevx worked wonders for him (Anecdotal evidence lol)
