1. When it comes to a 26 inch TV, is there are difference between 720p and 1080p?

Basically my budget is around 300 pounds, as I need a new TV for my bedroom. The only thing I will be doing is playing 360 games on it so which would be better?

or

?

I know 7 inches is a big difference, though I am considering the 20 inch instead in-case the Toshiba is a trap or the Sony has far better black levels.

So, which one? Thank you.

Do they even make 1080p 26" TVs? I think the short answer is, at that size, you won't be able to tell the difference. Or maybe it is a function of how close you sit rather than just the size of the screen. I guess you might be able to tell if you were sitting right in front of the thing.

I'm sure someone will bust out that chart on whether or not 1080p is noticeable based on the distance from the screen, but for that small of a display I would just stick with 720p and save some money.
