I just lost the antenna to my Nokia 2366i, and I need to get a new phone tomorrow with Verizon. I really don't know much about their phones anymore, does anyone have any recommendations?
Dunno, I guess around ~150ish, texting isn't that big of a deal to me since I don't get it. I want something that I can put custom ringtones on if possible(don't think it is with Verizon).
i have an lg, don't know the model number, but it has custom ringtone ability. good battery life and durable. its our second lg in the family and both are rockin

Custom ringtones are possible with verizon. I have a KRZR and like it. The biggest problem I have with it is that the interface lags like hell for some reason.
Just put a micro-SD card in there and you have plenty of space for all kinds of music. You cant make those ringtones however. There are a bunch of websites you can use to send ringtones to your computer for free.
I have a chocolate and its an ok phone. I am able to load up custom ring tones on it just fine. I got it when they had that music bundle deal that came with the bluetooth headphones and stuff and it sounds alright. I don't think the sound quality is a good as my ipod but its nice to not have any wires. It seems like it really kills the battery life when I listen to music though. I'm about to get about 3 hours of constant talk time out of it before it dies.
I know if I'm renewing my contract with Verizon Wireless, I'm going for their new LG Voyager, but I know that's a lot more then you're looking to spend. Other phones I thought about that are a bit closer to your price range are the MOTORIZR, LG enV, and possibly the Chocolate (though I had heard there were initial problems with it, apparently they got them resolved).
So I ended up getting the new chocolate, I was wondering if there is any way to make it lock to where you have to enter the code to unlock it when you slide it down. Also, is there anyway to make it so I can actually connect to other phones with bluetooth?
I think verizon locks down most of the built in blue tooth stuff I have no clue how you would unlock that stuff or even if you can. As far as I know you can't even transfer stuff from a computer to the phone via blue tooth. I use a USB cable to put stuff on mine. Its a pain to have to pay to get the cable but its better than paying for stupid ringtones
