Help connecting to Wii Online

So, I have problems connecting my SSID and my MTU value is zero. I have no idea what the MTU value is, but from my research I have deduced that the SSID is just the name of your wireless network, but I entered mine and it says I need to validate the SSID. Basically, I need some help on those two points.

just have the wii search for available connections, and select yours from the list. Don't try entering it manually.

the only think you should be entering manually is the encryption key if it exists (which it should if you don't want people jacking your internets).

So that means you want to broadcast your SSID while setting up your Wii, then have it stop broadcasting so no-one else tries to jump in.

Thanks a lot man. The first time I did this, I have no idea what the hell I did wrong, but it just worked first try. I suppose it had something to do with the finnicky internet of my old house.
