My next PS3 game rental is on it's way, and it's singstar. I naturally assumed that I'd be able to use my Bluetooth headset to sing along but, researching, it seems this may not be possible.
Has anyone any experience on which microphones are compatible? I don't really want to buy the official ones, for that price I may as well buy the game itself! Are there any 3rd party microphones that I could pick up? Do standard usb microphones work? Will a bluetooth headset actually work?
We got our singstar ps2 disc to play in our ps3 but the mic splitter wasn't compatible so we had to play on the ps2.
Don't know if this also applies to using ps2 mics with the ps3 game.
Very annoying story and probably not much help!
I don't have the answer for the original poster, but I think only the official ones work. As for the second poster are you sure? I use the mics and spliter that came with Sing Star 80's on my PS3 without any issues at all.
I thought this said Sinistar, not Singstar, at first.
I was kinda weirded out by the image of Sinistar in a Best Buy yelling "I LIVE!" into various mics and seeing which ones are compatible with his robotic overlord voice.

I want to know more PA people on Twitter.
