Steve Jobs, Apple Unveil Rice Sheet; Technology Age farts

Honestly,
I might not have all the sources (and I don't) but I want everyone's opinion... when was the last time you actually heard of new benchmark technology that actually had innovative utility and not just a cool-ass color scheme and voice activiation to boot?

I guess I'm worried of a potential plateau of creative genius in our technological age. I'm sure it would only be temporary, but all things aside, ain't it at least a bit boring? Or am I just way too spoiled that my toilet seat can give me a little kiss (that's so 90's)?

You tell me..

I think you're just not looking in the right places. Apple products are hardly ever state-of-the-art technologically, they just make it pretty and market it better than anyone. Did you know that there were hard-drive based MP3 players before the iPod?

Really, though, I have no idea what you're talking about.

The words you have written make no sense without more context.

Even when they spout anti-Apple nonsense, I just can't bring myself to disagree with somebody who sigs me. Dammit.

Maybe he's talking about the just-announced MacBook Air? That's the only thing that came to mind when he said "unveil rice sheet".

if you're expecting velcro in the tech age... you're going to be dissapointed

innovation in hardware is all done with basically... we've developed the tech... now it's about merging it with other tech... and also software

i think the only question is, does it have bluetooth? i just picked up a bluetoothbrush, so i can maintain proper dental hygeine from up to, like, 100ft away.

I'm not saying they don't make quality products, but it's almost always not new, cutting edge technology.

Anyway, what I think he's saying is that Apple's new laptop is kinda underwhelming? Technology is still marching forward, of course, and the MacBook Air is a masterpiece of miniaturization, but it certainly isn't a powerhouse otherwise.

I figured everyone would be on the same page, but yes, that is exactly what I'm referring to. I should've known better than to leave a post open for interpretation on PA. Hah!

    What?

You can remake this thread when you figure out what the hell you're trying to say.
