    I was never a fan of Carolla either until his radio show. Now I listen every morning on the way to work.

    Getting rid of Bonaduce was so great...although he provided some pretty funny moments, but they generally involved him getting his ass kicked by Chuck Liddell and Sugar Ray Leonard.

    me and my wife, 2 radios (40 + 1 free) 2 subscriptions (15 bucks a month total for both together)

    XM = never having to listen to asshats again

    Do you pay for cable tv? xbox live? how is radio any different, as long as the content is worth it? to you, music programming may not be worth subscribing to and you may be perfectly happy to listen to inane ads and put up with bad programming but many are quite willing to pay for programming that better meets what they want out of radio

    I get what I want out of free radio. I barely listen to it much at all anyway. I'll catch Corolla in the morning and NPR on the way home. And it's only about a 20 minute commute.

    So it's not for you. But to Mr. Bemis and I XM is pretty cool. I travel a lot and radio in my region is 95% garbage.

    Because I listened to Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell last night
    and it was pretty entertaining
    Still think it makes more sense than listening to conservative talk radio just to get angry at them
