Two Questions: 1) audio receiver 2) Media Player Classic

Okay, so the first problem is that when I turn my audio receiver on from TV to DVD, the volume is way too fucking loud and more often than not, someone runs into my room asking me what the hell to do. How can I make it so that the volumes are more or less equivalent?

Second problem is audio sync issues in Windows Media Player Classic. I have the CCCP installed but it seems that every so often I get a video that gets out of sync. I thought this was a problem with the video, at first, but then I tried opening it in VLC and I have no problems with audio sync. What's wrong?

Thanks, ahead of time :]

Only if you have per-input volume settings on the reciever or the DVD player also has a volume setting.

No clue on the other problem.
