Anything that is 10 GB or more would be what I'm looking for, I don't have any preference to brand as long as it's not a complete piece of garbage (AKA doesn't have to be iPod or Zune). Any suggestions/deals are appreciated.

What's your ideal price range, and how do you listen to music?
I ask because Zune is the way to go if you like subscriptions. I really like the library features in iTunes, so iPods are for me. Others want only to be able to copy mp3s over to the thing as if it were a hard drive, and simply listen to full albums. They all generally use different players, or at least have preferences that they don't like to change.
The Sansa is pretty much a SD card with a case and screen. No frills really, except you get an FM tuner which the Zune has if I remember correctly. I had an Ipod until it was stol'd. The interface for the Ipod was tons better, but the Sansa is pretty straightforward. Oh, there's a .2 second delay between tracks on the original firmware, so you need to make sure you get a *v2.

Anything below $150, since I've found a Zen Vision M 30 GB refurbished for that price. I'm getting this as a gift for someone who uses iTunes, so I guess compatibility with that would be important (does that lock me into the iPod?).
