I'd totally be up for a digital DnD game. Can't promise I'll be available *all* the time, but I have good access to a computer (i.e., I'm not busy) on weekdays during the day and weekends at night.
I'd probably be interested in playing a Ranger. Maybe a Fighter.
Update: Not only am I interested in a dragonborn warlock and minotaur ranger, I am also interested in, and have actually made, a githzerai monk using the conversion notes put up on the Wizard's site.
Just putting my name in the hat for any type of game really. Only played one adventure back in 2e days so I am pretty new. Would be up for playing any class.

Eh..fucking tycho and gabe's DnD podcast ate away at me, so I took a foolhardy plunge. I've kind of made warlock character, but I'm brand new at this, never played a game. Anyway, I'm available as a player.
Also putting together a short advantur, should be ready I'd say in up to a few weeks (pbp) Would love to have people that can dedicate, no bullshit, at least a post a day. maybe on occassion maptools for particular combats.

I'll be a human so it pretty much makes sense for every other race save dragonborn and maybe halflings. Mom was an elf, so maybe you just take after her side of the family.
Somebody should totally be a halfling something or another, but instead of actually being a halfling, the character is instead an intelligent monkey.
This is a general rule that should be applied to all games.

Posting in Red for an update. I'm going to be out of town until the 5th of July, which was included in the game start estimate of early July. I have been getting some fantastic ideas for characters and am giving my stamp of approval to the following:
Legionnaired's crotchety old Wizard or multiclassed WIZ/X as the parental unit. kuhlmeye as one of the kids, who is very much not magically inclined and decided to be a Rogue. zenpotato's Dragonkin Warlord Nanny, who serves as the group's non-family member.
From those 3, I need sheets. Zen and Legion are level 2, and Kuhl (CHECK PM) is level 1.
I need at least 1 more kid at level 1.
I have no problems with halflings, even if the father is neither human nor elf.
I'd like a shot to play. Preferably IRC/maptool if only to keep things from getting real slow. A mixed game would be ideal IMO (a session + pbp for the RP portions during the rest of the week) but I'm open to either live or pbp games.
I've played a little D&D but I'm definitely not a vet. I've read the 4.0 PHB now and I've been working out the differences between 3.0 and 4.0 (skipped 3.5 since I just finished with the differences between 2.0 and 3.0). Since the only live game I know about is GM'd by a guy gives off a creepy/potential sex offender vibe (and the gf really dislikes him) I figured I was out of luck. Turns out checking the PA-forums during work CAN be useful.
I'm leaning towards a Human Ranger (dual wield) that I've been building the stats/background for but if the Striker role is filled or another role is needed I'm open to trying something else out (mage or paladin especially).
I work the 9-530 on the East Coast but obviously can post a little bit in the middle the day (non-challenging programming jobs, wooo). Other than the P-A podcast I have avoided the sample adventure info.
