I've been trying to get more music to put on as 'mood music' to get down with my girlfriend too. You know, something to set the mood. Don't get me wrong, I've been bouncing around Barry White, Marvin Gaye, and other 'classics' - but I was wondering what you use to get down and what has worked for you all in the past.

I am in the business of saving lives.

    In my experience, the "classics" are fantastic for the seduction itself, but are far too slow for actual lovemaking/porking. If you can find something with a decent beat/rythm that you both enjoy, it'll probably work fine.

    I did run around with a girl for a while who liked electronica, and that worked out pretty damned awesome if you like that kind of music. You haven't had sex until you've had sex with music so loud it's vibrating the walls with pulsations that are matched up perfectly to your sexual rythm. It was as if every thrust was incredible, nay, epic.

    On a side note, that was the first time I tried out being loud during sex (she was pretty loud), and it was fun as hell. We got to scream our hearts out and the neighbors probably just thought she had her music up.

    I second this. It really depends on what kind of people you two are. I know girls who have suggested The Blood Brothers for carnal acts, but you know, it fits them.

    Santana is great, smooth and rhythmic. Specifically his two songs europa and samba pa ti. Great experiences with both.

    I once did it with the album Point from Cornelius so..

    But for me, She's So from Röyksopp really sets the mood, it turns my girlfriend COMPLETELY on :P

    Samba Pa Ti just seems too slow. Jingo is a good one but it's kinda short. I don't know much about Santana's newer stuff though.

    One time I was going down on my girlfriend while Winamp was playing on random. I had forgot to set it to repeat, so after sexytime music was over, my vast collection of silly songs started playing full force.

    I've always got a playlist of music ready to piss off my room mate when hes with his missus. Most of it is tech death with crazy off-beat timing :D
