Help ! [PC Entering Powersaving mode.]

So, My dads computer recently has developed a problem. When he turned on his pc, {Hp a350n} the computer simply said "Warning, Pc entering powersaving mode." When this happens, he's unable to do anything at all to the computer. F8 doesn't work, and nothing else does! I've attempted to search all over the internets, and i've called Hp themselves, but as usual an hour later on hold you're back where you started. Can anyone help?

Is it a desktop or a laptop? If it is a relatively old laptop its possible the battery has gone or some other hardware. Does the PC enter the powersaving mode before windows? Can u boot in safe mode w/o networking?

Chances are ull get the best help from simply staying online to the tech support in India or wherever.

If your dad has no important documents the simplest and most hassle free way would be to just reformat depending on the data on it.

sounds like its stuck in standby mode, unplug it from the wall and then plug it back up. Post back with what you find.


... If that doesnt work it is probably the OS or the Power Supply
