So I'm in this band, and we're about to start selling some shirts, and here's what I've got so far.
I'm definitely going to mess with the fonts, but I'm too tired and am going to go to sleep now.
We're going to a single colour on black t shirts because its the cheapest, so we were going for something fairly simple. For all I know, I'll wake up in the morning and hate this, but any feed back would be rad.
You’ll sell a lot more shirts if you just pay a local design student $100 to design one for you. In this that, that’s a pretty big deal because nobody is going to buy that shirt.

Ha, well thanks I guess. I know this guy who designs band shirts for cheap, and I'm definitely going to get him to do it. Looking back on it (having just woke up and all) I admit, it's incredibly "meh".
I still like the idea though. I'll send him this to work from, and I'm sure he'll make something not terrible out of it. He always does.
I'll post whatever he comes up with, if anyone actually cares.
Ok, yes, I suck horribly. We're past that. However, does anyone think that the general idea is worth persuing if someone who actually knew what they were doing gave it a shot?
I would find a way to focus on the over all concept with a single element. Right now, this kind of composition is all over the place. Maybe a Dinosaur skull with a trumpet would better convey a sense of "We are dying", dinosaurs and wind instruments.
This is me shooting ideas off the top of my head with out knowing what kind of band you are. So, what kind of band are you?
Conductor Dino (If that's what it was) is in the direct middle looking forward with its back facing us. And then the other 3 dinos are looking at him, which would mean that we can see their front. And they could be in a row holding their instruments. And underneath Conductor dino could be the logo.
I'm at work so I can't draw what's on my mind, hahah.
I probably should have specified what kind of band we are. We're an Indie Pop Rock/Post Rock blah blah something something. It's supposed to be a joke, but obviously it wasn't very well executed. I think I'm going to roll with the idea though, and try and find some ways to make it less cluttered. Or, better yet, I'll pay this guy to do it for me, because he actually knows what he's doing.
Any ideas are still appreciated. I like the idea looking from behind the T Rex.
honestly if it was just a shirt with the dinosaur sillhouettes on maybe a different color- without any text, it could be a nifty tee.
The colour it's on is only because that's the colour of shirts we're getting initially. It would be any colour on any colour, it just has to be ONE colour. Though I might try it without text (other than the band name, ofcourse) just to see how it looks. I do find the "We Are All Dying" line funny though.
I really think it would be cool if there was no text at all. That line really isnt funny, and band shirts without the name are getting popular. Its the viral-esque way to do it.
To Grim Outlook:
I mostly just really like them. I had to have on in there somewhere. Plus, it's kind of stage or something...maybe.
To Greatnation:
I am quite uncertain about the text and think you might be right, but when you're a fairly new band trying to get your name out, it doesn't hurt to have a name on your merch. I have something of a name where I'm from since I've been in several decently successful bands in the past, but even then, I don't particularily want people calling us "that guys new band". Maybe I could just put the name somewhere below the dinosaurs, so it doesn't really become part of the picture.
