This was a pretty poorly thought out thread. What do you mean you don't know who those characters are? Mina has been around since the beginning, Maxi was in calibur 1-3, and yunsung was in 2 and 3.

And why the fuck would some random Final fantasy summon be a good idea from a marketing stand point?

Well, Seung Mina does tend to get neglected in AC releases lately.

And she's the only character I'm good with. Stupid Namco.

Speaking of which, why not include Wild Dog? He can blow himself up after every round.

I saw this earlier today. I wasn't surprised; Project Soul did say they were going to include all the "classic" characters. What I'm more surprised about is that the new Kilik and X haven't been rolled out. I mean, they should come before Mina and Maxi, for sure. Maybe, just maybe X has done what she should have done 4 games ago, and died in a fire.

I'll admit I havn't played SC or its sequels since 2, and I stuck almost with Assassin in 2 so my memory's fuzzy on it.

OK I admit I was a bit hasty making this thread, I apologize for that, and not knowing the characters, but I have a nasty habit of not remembering names in fighting games unless I use the character(s) extensively.

Gilgamesh, my opinion too sorry for any nerves I hit with that, but I still believe he has a better back story, and he'd make more sense than Vader or Yoda.

Gilgameshs back story is, for those that don't know

He was the Exdeaths right hand man in Final Fantasy 5, until Exdeath got tired of him not killing the party, and banishing him to the X Zone. After meeting him in the X Zone he meets the party, and attacks because he thinks they're monsters. He realizes they're not, apologizes and goes on his merry way. Later on he sacrifices(?) himself to save the party from one of Exdeaths newer generals.

In Final Fantasy 8, he shows up to wail on Seifer after he kills Odin, which gives Gilgamesh Odins sword.

In Final Fantasy 12, he's a hunt and steals a sword from your guild boss, so you go hunt him down, and he shows off his swords and runs off after he's beat, and comes back as the party leaves to take his replica sword back since they just leave it there.

The only reason I know any of that, is he's my favorite Final Fantasy character, I can't even remember the name of the main characters of 5.

Again, I apologize for my hastiness though.

They improved the hell out of him in 3 (while subsequently smacking Talim around with then nerfbat). I mean, he was good in 2, but he was fuckawesome in 3.

Fuck. Yes. Voldo for life. I purposefully made a color change that made him even more annoying to my friends. They all hate me for Voldo. And of course the never ending Air-Humpâ„¢ bounce that you can pull off if you have, quote-unquote, mad skills.

And a classic line from one of my friends in a Voldo vs. Yoshimitsu. "I think you just parried my Air-Hump with your poison breath..."
