A couple nights ago I was watching (Army Of Darkness) With my GF, She had never seen it before. Half Way through the movie she turned to me and said "Sam, this movie is lame!" ... I got up, took my DvD and went home with out saying a word. Was that the wrong action to take?

Come on now, I know ONE of you wants to give me access to "Age Of Conan" Beta! /Offering my left nutticle...

    Uh, yeah. Not everyone likes the same things that you do. In fact, given the odds, only a small minority of people will ever express the same desires as you, so getting pissy over people not sharing your tastes will only leave you dying alone.

    This thread is a waste of time, the OP is clearly not serious.

    And on the off chance that he being serious:

    You are very wrong, many many people will have differing opinions from you and you if you give up personal relationships over enjoyment of Army of Darkness you have deeper issue then Bruce Campbell worship.

    My girlfriend doesn't like any movies I do. Any.

    And I have a pretty average taste in movies. We can only agree on comedies.

    My opinion of this situation is that you are potentially the biggest retard in the world. It's a real good idea to walk out on your girlfriend because she doesn't like a movie you like.

    And if this is a joke, which is rather likely, you're still the biggest retard in the world.

    Anyhow. As others have said this was the wrong answer to take and hopefully you have a girlfriend with low enough self esteem to not mind you treating her like this.

    My girl and I don't agree about movies. So we suffer through the other one's pick, enjoy it a little but hide it, and then mock it for half an hour before forgetting about it.

    I think if I straight up left because she didn't like a cult b-horror movie, she'd kick me in the balls on the way to the door.

    Edit in response to your second post:
    If you want to have people all cheer about how you walked out on your girlfriend for not agreeing with a movie, you might be better off in SE++ or something.
