Which headphones should I buy?

I am looking for large, around-the-ear headphones.

I have narrowed down my search to 3 headphones, all sennheisers:
HD555 - $100
HD485 - $70
HD280 - $70

I will mainly be using these while walking around the streets of Philadelphia, and listen mostly to bass-heavy music like hip-hop and electronica.

    i can vouch for the 280's. they're comfortable, good sound, nice cord to them, and they collapse into a small enough footprint that i can fit them in the front pocket of my bag and not worry about their safety.

    walking around with them might be a bit tricky, they're bigger than you might want. but i think any closed-can headphone will be.

    I own the 280, 555, 580, and 595. I can safely say that you will look retarded wearing the 280 outside of the safety of your bedroom. The 555 you mention give better sound but do not block it out so people will be hearing a bit of what you are though they do look better.
