So this is a wildstorm comic and so far I think there are only three issues so far, but I was curious if anyone else thought that the writing is really sub par in this book. I know its World of Warcraft and maybe that is the fanbase they are going for, but I think the problem is they keep putting in dialog when there actually doesn't need to be any dialog.
I love the art though, its a style I really like looking at and thats what has kept me reading for the three issues. I was just wondering what other people that may have read them think about it.
I picked up the first two issues the other day, they were on sale (which seems bad for a comic that's still really new). Writing was pretty boring, art had pretty colors but wasn't really anything to write home about. I'm a big fan of the Warcraft universe and I'm just going to stick with the books.
Yeah the books I really enjoy, so I was really depressed when I started reading these and they lacked no interesting points what so ever. I wonder if maybe they should just cut and paste chat logs from the game in with pictures of characters doing stuff, that would come pretty close to the same stuff they have written thus far.
I have to agree about the writing. I devour WoW lore, and I'm really considering getting some of the books to round out my interest, but aside from the awesome visuals, there's not much to it aside from the fan wankery- which I'm fine with.
Hopefully, they'll get the chance to explore character development a bit more.

Good art (love the covers by Samwise), and the story is good if you like the simple lore of WoW. Right now it's not doing much for me but giving the occasional giggle when I spot an in-game area (Dire Maul, whee!). Given that Blizzard has weaves pretty much every book and manga ever made about Warcraft into the lore at large, I'll keep picking these up and hope for some insight into future events in the game.

Well the rumors about the 'anti-Thrall' running about in the story so far all seem to say...
...that he may be in fact Stormwind's missing king due to all the flashbacks he's having.
I've liked what I've seen so far in the first two issues and if WoW-Wiki's summary of issue #3's events are true, then I can't wait to read it since I'm a big fan of the Tauren and their capital of Thunder Bluff.
Of course now I'm gonna be a little disappointed whenever I go to the Pools Of Vision and not see a monster rampaging there.
