Every now and again my mp3 player (Sansa c240) will decide to put a perfectly good song into the "Uknown Artist" category, for no apparent reason. It's usually only one or two songs off of whatever album I'm syncing at the time, but it's fucking annoying none the less. Anyone know of a way to fix this, short of buying a new device?
EDIT: The files are being written as .wma. Might this be the cause of this whole fuckawful mess?
EDIT 2: Just tried it with .mp3. Same problem as before. Perhaps the device is truly buggered.
